Notes, Cautions, Tips, Etc.: Macros: If you have QuicKeys or a similar macro program, you can simplify the process of answering the phone and clicking the Use Phone button by defining a sequence to bring Keep Trying! to the front (via the Application Menu) and then entering a keystroke. Assign this sequence to an F-Key, and when the called party answers, just pick up the phone and press the F-Key. Be Reasonable... The two “try again” settings in KT’s main window will accept any value down to “00 minutes and 00 seconds”. However, KT is not guaranteed to work correctly if these settings are given extremely low values. Exactly how short you can make the “try again” delays will depend on the behavior of your modem and phone line. In general, delays less than 15 seconds aren’t recommended. Use reasonable values and everything will work fine.
